Staying at Chena Huts was very nice. The individual huts are beautifully adorned, spacious, and positioned perfectly for ocean views. My hut had a large deck and plunge pool. Each morning began with thrilling safaris led by knowledgeable guides. Haritha, my ranger, made every drive nice, showcasing wildlife like leopards and elephants. The dining experience excelled too. Every meal was a culinary delight, especially with Sampath as my attentive server. Every dish reminded me of a work of art. On the downside, the driveway to the hotel is a challenge. The sandy offroad path might not suit all vehicles, so a warning about vehicle requirements would be helpful. A great experience with a few minor inconveniences that didn't overshadow the fun.

gorgeous property with skilful staff and phenomenal location near the beach. a mini-bar, an iron/ironing board, and a work desk available in the luxury cabin. incredibly large beds and top-notch service. location not far from the restuarant, the forest, and sri lanka. awesome food in the michelin star rated restaurant in the vicinity. very nice stay, as always.

The sandy off-road path is a hassle for vehicles!!! Personalized gestures for special occasions could be improved!!! A transfer to the hotel should be pre-arranged and not requested last minute!!!

The luxury cabin was fine and the plunge pool was a perfect spot to unwind. We went on exhilarating safaris with experienced rangers and enjoyed fantastic meals. The beachfront was lovely. Would highly recommend planning trips to Kataragama and Bundala!
One downside was the sandy off-road path to the hotel, which might not be suitable for all vehicles.

Thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful hotel. The venue has an amazing location really close to a rugged private coastline. The historic area around Anuradhapura is nearby. The beautiful wildlife is on Chena Hut's doorstep.
